Berlinda is an entrepreneur, working mother and an avid traveller.
She is the owner of Suva’s latest coffee shop Sawaad Bistro.
Before venturing into this latest business, Berlinda was the Team Leader Sales and Marketing at Fijian Broadcasting Corporation (FBC).
Personal favourite holiday spot: “The Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay as I love the overwater villas. “Its not too far out and it’s just beautiful.”

What’s one place you’d take every visitor to Fiji and why?
The beaches on the major islands of Viti Levu and Vanua Levua as they are grey, gritty white sandy. The best beaches – and certainly the quietest and least developed and often the most remote.
Its lovely to be surrounded by reefs, creating lagoons of calm blue-green waters swarming with marine life and coral. The beaches are pristine and bleached-white, which any visitor would love.
What’s your secret backyard favourite spot?
If I had it my way I would love to be in the middle of no where and be surrounded by Dolphins
What’s your favourite place in Fiji for a pie/coffee?
Certainly my New Spot @Sawaad Bistro. Sawaad Bistro is Suva’s latest Coffee Shop and is the product of hard work and determination.
Sawaad offers drinks from premium coffee beans to introduce even higher standards of coffee for those serious coffee lovers out there.
What’s one Fiji spot on the top of your bucket list?
Kokomo Private Island Resort in Kadavu.
