The appointment of our new Executive Chef; Leon Hatton-Jones and Executive Sous Chef; Frank Oh, has seen the introduction of new and refined culinary experiences for guests at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa.

Both Chefs join the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort with many years of international experience that is reflected in the revamp of menus and the overall dining experience across all restaurants on property.

Chef Leon joins the Resort after spending many years in South Africa and Namibia among other countries and Chef Franko joins the team with years of culinary experience in Korea, France and Australia respectively.

“The culinary team’s approach is rooted in respect for fresh ingredients ensuring that every fish or meat “caught or cut” is of the finest quality,” states Executive Chef Leon.

“We apply the same dedication for fruits and vegetables; sourcing as much of our supplies from the nearby farmers and local suppliers to ensure that our guests are getting the best flavor and freshness every time they dine.”

“The buffet and la carte menus at all day dining Sanasana Restaurant have recently been revised, featuring a wonderful balance and journey of food from around the world.

“From Asian to western and Fijian influences, there is something for every guest to enjoy.  We want to be able to provide our guest with a variety of delicious dishes as diverse as the cultures that visit us.”

Located at the hub of the resort, Toba Bar and Grill is our poolside restaurant dining experience.

A more casual dining area that overlooks the picturesque Natadola Bay and Pacific Ocean, guests can dine in a relaxed atmosphere for either lunch or dinner and enjoy wood fired pizza and calzone, burgers, rice bowls and arguably the best cocktails in the resort.

“If you want to try something, I would definitely recommend the rice bowls at Toba Bar & Grill. They are packed with flavor and freshness.

“You have your choices of meats and a selection of locally grown vegetables on a bed of rice and easily washed down with the refreshing Kiwi Smash – our signature cocktail.“

Navo Restaurant is our Signature Restaurant at Natadola Bay and will be host to the Misha’s Vineyard Wine dinner on Thursday 8th June 2017.

This bespoke dinner event is a collaboration between Victoria Wines and Spirit, Misha’s Vineyard of Central Otago, New Zealand  and Navo Restaurant.

The Restaurant offers a fusion of local delicacies from around Fiji combined with international flavors and styles of cooking. Navo Restaurant features a private dining room that can seat for up to 20 people and is also the base for our private cabana dining experiences.

The aim at the resort is to deliver truly memorable experiences; therefore the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa also offers intimate dining experience options where couples can choose to indulge in a special dinner under the stars overlooking the resort infinity pool and Natadola Bay, or their own private beachside cabana dinner with their own personal waiter.
